Solutions

Three ways to start. One person accountable.

Whether you need something built, someone to lead the technology function, or a straight answer to a hard technical question. The engagement changes; the operator does not.

Which one

Pick by the problem you have, not by the service you think you need.

  • A number you can’t explain, or a decision you can’t size. Start with the diagnostic, whichever of the three you end up in.
  • You know what needs building. Build.
  • You need someone to own the technical decisions. Partner.
  • You need a straight answer to one hard technical question. Consult.

Build

Hands-on engineering

Bespoke software, SaaS products and internal systems built from the ground up and delivered to production.

  • Product design & architecture
  • Full-stack development
  • Desktop, browser-extension and chat clients
  • APIs & integrations
  • Cloud & DevOps
  • AI-enabled features where useful

Partner

Technical leadership

A technical co-founder or fractional CTO to own the technology function: what gets built, in what order, and on what architecture.

  • Technical/product strategy
  • Architecture
  • Team leadership
  • Roadmaps & execution
  • Technical due diligence

Consult

Complex technical problems

Architecture reviews, AI strategy and technical advisory for difficult or high-value decisions.

  • AI & automation strategy
  • System architecture
  • Feasibility & prototyping
  • Technology due diligence
  • Modernisation planning

What each one costs

Three shapes, and the same three names as the doors.

  • Diagnostic, two weeks, £7,500. The way in, whichever door you came through. What is wrong, what it is costing, and what fixing it takes.
  • Build, quoted from a specification. The thing itself, in production and handed over. The diagnostic produces the specification, or you bring one. Six to twelve weeks is the usual shape; the specification replaces that range with a number.
  • Partner, £2,000 to £7,500 a month. The decisions keep coming after launch. A support retainer of two days a month, or a retainer of a day or two a week. Month to month, 30 days’ notice.

All prices exclude VAT. Partnership on equity happens, only when you raise and only after a fee, and it’s answered on the Partner page rather than priced here.

Positioning

AI is a tool here. Not the category.

AI and automation appear across Build, Partner and Consult, applied where they change the economics of a process.

What that rules out is as important as what it includes: no experiments that never reach production, no strategy deck handed to a different team to implement, and no AI bolted onto a system that has a simpler problem underneath it.

The engagement

Diagnose → Decide → Deliver → Support

A process that starts with the commercial problem and doesn’t stop at a slide deck. The same person runs every stage, and each one leaves you holding something real.

01

Diagnose

The commercial problem, worked out with the people who own it, and written down.

02

Decide

The fix that’s right for the business, whether it’s something new or a repair, agreed before anything is built.

03

Deliver

Working, tested software in production, and a handover that doesn’t need me.

04

Support

The system kept running and improving, for as long as it earns its place.
